How should a hiring manager use this salary guide?

Use the published occupation and area as a starting point for a pay discussion, not as a price for a particular applicant. Real Estate Headhunters shows the BLS mapping beside the figures because many property management titles sit inside broader occupations. Your asset, responsibilities and pay mix still need a separate conversation.

Start by choosing the title you use for the opening. Read the mapping note before comparing pay. A broader occupation may include workers outside your property setting. Two titles can resolve to the same occupation and show identical figures. That is a limit of the source, not evidence that the jobs ask for the same experience.

Then choose the area and pay basis. The guide identifies when an area estimate is missing and a tool uses a broader geography. A suppressed value is not a zero. A top-coded value is a published lower bound, not an exact salary. We leave those distinctions visible so a buyer does not mistake a neat-looking chart for more precision than BLS provides.

What does the guide help you decide before a search?

It helps you separate a pay question from a scope question. The offer checker compares an amount you enter with published wage points. The vacancy calculator uses your own costs. The comparison tool puts occupations and areas alongside each other. None of those tools predicts whether a named person will accept your opening.

Review the job's pay mix next. Overtime, discretionary bonuses, housing arrangements and benefits do not become base wages just because they affect a candidate's decision. Read the methodology before comparing an annual offer with an hourly figure. If the published occupation only supports one basis, the tool explains the restriction rather than filling the gap with an estimate.

The figures and tool results are visible without entering an email address. A work email is requested for saved reports and exports. If the occupation is too broad to answer your hiring question, send the role and explain the responsibility you need covered. A search conversation can identify the missing detail; it does not turn the public data into a private salary survey.

Our process

What do you get from The Six-Step Search?

Real Estate Headhunters begins with the decisions behind your vacancy, not an advert. You get a clear brief, a mapped candidate pool and evidence from direct conversations. We help you distinguish an interested person from a qualified fit, then support interviews and the decision without promising a completion date.

  1. 1

    Search Calibration

A brief that settles the operating problem, reporting line, location, compensation and who can approve the hire.

  2. 2

    Market Mapping

A view of relevant working backgrounds, asset types and experience rather than a search based only on titles.

  3. 3

    Professional Contact Intelligence

Direct ways to approach relevant people respectfully, without relying on applications or exposing a confidential vacancy.

  4. 4

    Persistent Personalized Outreach

A conversation about your actual role, with follow-up that establishes whether a move is worth discussing.

  5. 5

    Live Candidate Qualification

Evidence about responsibilities, relevant results, systems and the practical reasons someone would accept the move.

  6. 6

    Candidate Intelligence and Process Support

A short list with context for interviews, objections and decisions, not a stack of unexplained resumes.

What else should you ask before starting this search?

Why do two different property roles show the same pay?

They may map to the same BLS occupation in the same area. Read both mapping notes before interpreting the figures; the source does not report every employer's internal title separately.

Does the guide include discretionary bonuses or benefits?

No. Use the wage definition in the methodology and keep those parts of an offer separate. A candidate can value them without their becoming part of the published wage measure.

When do we pay the recruiting fee?

No upfront fee. You pay only if you hire under the standard contingency agreement. The signed agreement sets the terms; read the fee page before authorizing the search.

How long does it take to see a short list?

The scope of the job, candidate availability and your interview decisions affect the search. We explain the market response and agree next steps rather than promise a numeric deadline.

What if our chosen candidate gets a counteroffer?

We ask about the reasons for a move before an introduction. You still need a clear offer and an honest account of the job; an increase in pay alone may not resolve why someone considered leaving.

What are the replacement terms?

We offer a candidate replacement guarantee on standard search agreements. The applicable period and exact terms are set out in the signed client recruiting agreement.

What do you not do?

We do not sell job-board reposting or send an unqualified resume stack. Standard permanent search is not hourly consulting or a retained assignment. Different engagements require agreed terms.

CAM has different meanings. NAA CAM is the Certified Apartment Manager credential. The Florida community association manager license is a separate license, cited here as an example of state licensing. In commercial budgets, CAM means common area maintenance. We check the credential or license relevant to the opening, where the state requires it.
